Aluminium Windows
Standard projects use aluminium windows according to the approved layout. Normal colour options include charcoal or bronze.
Before you compare quotations, understand the construction standard. This page explains the foundation, structure, finishes, windows, doors, plumbing, electricity, exclusions, optional planning services and payment stages used for our Nutec house projects.
Nutec houses are lightweight framed buildings. Our standard construction method raises the timber floor structure above the ground using suitable support poles or stilts rather than automatically building every house on a concrete slab.
House constructed on poles / stilts with timber floor structure.
Wooden floor construction with the exposed finish varnished.
Not included in the standard square-metre rate. Quoted separately when the client specifically requests a slab foundation.
Slopes, difficult access and unusual ground conditions may require additional assessment before the final quotation is confirmed.
The finished exterior is only one part of the building. The strength and appearance of the final house depends on the underlying framing, wall construction and finishing sequence.
The house structure is formed using timber framing for the external walls, internal partitions and roof-support structure.
Nutec boards form the exterior wall finish and are fixed to the prepared timber structure.
Internal wall surfaces can be finished with drywall together with insulation within the wall system.
Ceiling boards are installed under the roof structure with insulation according to the standard construction specification.
Standard projects use aluminium windows according to the approved layout. Normal colour options include charcoal or bronze.
A standard aluminium sliding door can be included according to the agreed project specification.
Roof design is selected according to the house style. Chromadek IBR roofing can be used according to the quotation.
A Nutec house can be completed internally to provide a clean residential finish rather than leaving exposed framing and unfinished wall surfaces.
Internal partitions and wall surfaces finished according to the approved project scope.
Insulation installed with the ceiling and wall system according to the standard specification.
Finished ceiling installed according to the selected roof and room design.
Timber flooring is finished and varnished as part of our standard pole-foundation construction.

Our standard quotations can include both plumbing and electrical work. Where a client does not require an entire utility scope, the relevant allocation can be removed from an applicable quotation.
Keeping optional items separate prevents every customer from paying for services that they do not require.
Planning requirements differ between locations and projects. For this reason they appear as optional selections on the quotation form rather than being automatically charged to every client.
Residential building-plan services can be quoted according to the size and requirements of the project.
Basic planning or layout work may be required before formal drawings are prepared.
3D concepts can be included where appropriate to assist with project visualisation.
Professional engineering involvement or stamps are included where required for the specific project.
Council or municipal submission can be selected where required by the local authority.
The quotation form will allow the customer to indicate whether they require plans, engineering or municipal submission.
The customer does not pay the full project amount before work begins. Payments follow the agreed construction milestones.
Required before materials are ordered and construction starts.
Progress payment due when the project reaches the agreed roof stage.
Final balance payable upon completion according to the agreed scope.
The standard project terms provide a 12-month workmanship warranty, subject to the project agreement, proper use and the limitations set out in the quotation or contract.
